Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015 signed into law

We invite you to take advantage of the IRA charitable rollover tax break.

On December 18, 2015, the president signed into law the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015 (PATH). This law made the IRA charitable rollover retroactive to January 1, 2015. It will remain in effect for 2016 and beyond.

Are you eligible for this unique tax break?

1.     You are age 70 ½ or older on day of gift.
2.     You transfer up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to the Sisters of Divine Providence.
3.     You make your tax-free gift by December 31, 2015.*
